Meet the Stylists

Stephanie Parsons has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She studied at Empire Beauty School where she won awards for men's cuts, creative formal styles and placed 3rd in state for theatrical make-up.

After graduation, Stephanie furthered her education with Advanced/Corrective Coloring techniques with "Matrix," advanced cutting techniques with "Team Paul Mitchell" and a "Tribes of Style" techniques with "Big Sexy Hair." She also attended beauty business class with world- renowned stylist Tabatha Coffey. She was employed and managed a National Hair Care Salon as well as a

JC Penney Salon, where she was a Master Stylist and supervisor.

Stephanie opened "Studio 93" in April of 2010. She specializes in Color Correction, Multi-dimensional foiling and master cutting.

What she loves most about the industry:

     "It's a forever changing industry and there is always something   new to learn. It doesn't feel like work, my clients are wonderful!"

Jennifer Kahane- Jennifer started her career in the beauty industry in 2002. She received her education from the Carbon County Area Vocational Technical School. At the awards ceremony Jennifer received “Most Creative Styling” as well an award for advanced coloring and foil highlighting. Over the past 13 years Jennifer has attended various expert classes to improve her skills of the latest trends for her clientele. She has also attended a class presented by the renowned hair stylist and salon owner, Tabatha Coffey.

Jennifer began working at “Studio 93” when it opened in 2010. She excels in Color Correction, Multi-dimensional coloring and superior cutting.

“ I’ve always been encouraged to do what I love. Since I was 6 years old, I knew that I would one day be in this industry. I’ve always had a passion for hair and still do to this day. I love it as much today as that day I started. I love my clients and more importantly I love the ones that work beside me. We learn, teach and grow together as a team. I am fortunate to have a remarkable group of co-workers and clients. I wouldn’t trade them for anything!”

 

Tara Potash- Tara began her career in the beauty world with her graduation form Empire Beauty School in 2002.  She also attended class in Philadelphia hosted by Tabatha Coffey. She worked as a senior at JC Penney Salon for 8 years. She has been employed at “Studio 93” since it opened in 2010.

Tara excels at men’s haircuts, A-line bobs, body wave perms, multi-dimensional foiling and eyebrow shaping. 

            What Tara loves about the industry?

“I love when people leave feeling good about themselves.”

Antonio Carmona- Antonio is a graduate of the Academy of Hair with 7 years of experience. He is also an instructor at the Jolie Health & Beauty Acedemy in Hazleton, PA where he has been teaching for the last four years.

Antonio has worked alongside Stephanie, Jennifer and Tara at the JC Penney Salon since 2009 and came to work at “Studio 93” in 2014. He is a bright individual full of spunk and wit. Antonio is also fluent in English and Spanish.

“Toni” specializes in braids, hair extensions, advanced clipper techniques (men’s fades). He is also certified in Keratin Bonding Techniques through the Bella Donna Academy Pro Hair Extensions.

What do I love most about the industry?

“I have a wide range of creative freedom when it comes to hair.  Also, every a client gets a different cut, color or style, it makes the workplace more exciting.”
